BOOKS BY BEORN NIJENHUIS
THe boy who skated with the animals
Many children dream of becoming a professional skater. For Beorn, this dream came true. Together with Edward van de Vendel, he wrote a children's book about growing up in nature and discovering his love for skating.
When Beorn was young, his mother would walk with him through the forest and tell him that, although he couldn't see them, the animals were hiding and watching, just out of sight behind the trees. He never forgot this message of respect for nature, and years later he wrote this children's book to honor the animals and tell his story, from a little boy skating on a lonely Canadian lake, to eventually moving to the Netherlands and racing at the Olympics.
"the Lecture completely focused and attuned to the audience, made adjustments to his presentation on the spot, nice examples. Took plenty of time to answer questions from the audience and there were quite a few. Even after the performance he took plenty of time to answer questions. A nice man!"

"Perfectly matched the inspiration evenings within the framework of RaboClubSupport Support. Beorn spoke 3 evenings and constantly adapted his presentation to the target group. Enthusiastic and interesting. Approachable and takes all the time for questions, also after the presentation. Makes the subject understandable for everyone using his presentation."
